15 day Wonders of Rajasthan, India

Rajasthan is a famous region in India amongst many travellers. From intense culture, to nature and adventure, to the one of the 7 wonders of the world, this region has something to offer to everyone. This is only a sample, we can adapt the itinerary to your travel needs and likes.

Day 1/2- Dehli

Welcome to India. A day long sightseeing of Old Delhi (Shahajahanabad) and New Delhi which includes Red Fort, Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Lotus Temple, India Gate and the grand government buildings, the President’s House, Mahatama Gandhi Memorial.

Day 3/4- Agra- Taj Mahal

On the way to Agra visit Sikandara which is the mausoleum of Akbar. Once in Agra visit The Agra Fort - the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna. Later at sunset visit the magnificent Taj Mahal - one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created.

Day 5: Ranthambore Safari

Ranthaombore is a village named after Ranthambore Nation park, where you would going on your safari adventure to see India's wildlife. See different species of deers, birds and if you are lucky tigers and leopards.

Day 6/7: Jaipur

Jaipur is known as the pink city. Enjoy the chaaotic market. Here you will visit some beautiful landmarks including the water palace, Wind palace or Hawa Mahal, Birla temple and the Amber fort where you will experience an elephant ride.

Day 8- Pushkar

Enjoy the holy city of Pushkar, witness hindu's bath in holy water at the holy lake. Later visit various temples and ghats and enjoy sunset. Visit the one and only temple in India dedicated to Brahma. Enjoy a stroll around the pretty market, make sure to haggle for some great prices.

Day 9/10: Udaipur

Welcome to the City of Lakes. Take a walk through the colorful Bazaar. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, and visit the Jag Mandir Palace amidst the lake, the picturesque beauty of the palace will take your breath away. Visit the City palace and the Jadish temple.

Day 11 - Jodhpur

Well known as the blue city, famous for spices. Here you can visit the grandeur of the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh fort and Jaswant Thada and Clock Tower.

Day 12 - Desert Safari

Proceed toward the Thar desert. Enjoy a camel ride into the desert's sand dunes to witness the sunset. Enjoy dinner in a village outside Jaisalmer to spend your day in rustic desert atmosphere and enjoy traditional dance and sleep under the stars.

Day 13 - Jaisalmer

Sightseeing of one of the oldest forts of Rajasthan "Golden Fort", Gadisar Lake followed by a walking tour to admire the excellent stone carving work on Havelies in the town. Visit the Patwon Ki Haveli (Mansion) and Salim singh Ki Haveli, with their carved balconies and brackets which are supreme examples of the art

Day 14 - Bikaner

Visit the Camel Breeding farms, Junagarh Fort, Lallgarh Palace, Fort Museum and the remarkable Bhandasar Jain temples. The magnificent palace is fabricated in red sandstone and marble is embellished with mirror work, exquisite carvings and paintings, definitely a worth visiting sight. Be dared to enter Karni Mata temple AKA Rat Temple.

Day 15/16 - Mandawa/ Dehli

Later visit Mandawa town, founded 1755 by Thakur Nawal Singh and still the home of his descendants, has beautiful frescoes, havelis and mansions. From here transfer to Dehli.
